I have been a client for a number of years and have had great service. I see some reviews say the staff is rude or the owners are asked to drop off the pets. This is a BUSY clinic, so sometimes the staff is in a hurry but they've never been rude to me and I've been in there MANY times over the years. They allow "drop offs" in order to fit in people who cannot wait a week or two for an appointment. If you want a specific appointment, you may have to wait for one to be available or simply go somewhere else. They have handled everything for me from routine care, to artificial insemination, to assistance exporting my show dogs overseas. Julia has been able to diagnose issues for me that had after hours vets stumped, and it cost me half of what the other vets charged who told me they didn't have a clue. Is this vet's office immune to the occasionally rough day or human error? Nope, no one is.But in years of experience with this office I have been extremely happy with their care and service.

I am not from Washington but was in need of a good vet to do an artificial insemination for my dog. She is a field trial dog and very special to me. I had to travel hours to get to the stud dog & hand picked him for his abilities. Because I am from out of state I wanted a good vet to help with the AI. I called the office and the staff was VERY RUDE and unwilling to help. They were ill informed and put me on hold several times to try to find info. The Dr would not be in on Monday so they had a "rent a vet" that was coming in to do vetting and they didn't know much about her! They wanted me to drop the dog off and NOT be present for the Insemination or collection. In this situation the dog and female need to be comfortable for all to go smoothly and the owner being present for calming of the female is of the utmost importance. They REFUSED for me to be present and wanted me to leave them for 5 hours. I would NOT recommend this vet for ANYONE BOTH VET/RECEPTIONIST WERE RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL

I feeel that Dr. Leese is a very well informed vet. She also cares very much about her animal clients.

I love Dr. Leese, she has always made sure I know exactly what is going on with my animals. she is my whole family's vet, and we have never had a complaint about her. her staff is very easy to talk to, all of them having a different personality.

Although Julia Leese does have very reasonable prices, you definately get what you pay for with her. Not only does she NOT exam animals prior to surgery, she leaves them on the surgical table while she takes appointments under anesthesia... or has them anestisized while she is not even in the building. Her staff is completely RUDE and highly untrained. Most have NEVER had any experience in a clinic before. She will diagnose animals without testing and hope that it is the correct diagnosis. Have you checked with the Veterinary Board of Washington State? She is under investigation for many violations. Anyone who takes their pet to her... BEWARE!!! I strongly reccomend finding a different vet. Most of the people who reccomend her are breeders, and this is why they like her. Cheap service and they can get what they want from her. It says monitored overnight care..... That is a joke. Ask her pee-ons upfront if someone stays there overnight, or who comes in to check on them!

Julia Leese is an amazing woman with a huge heart.She is a wonderful vet who offers a variety of services. Unlike other vets her prices are much more reasonable. She is more willing to give you alternatives other than to just automatically bringing in your animal and doind 100 tests on them and then charging you an arm and a leg for things that were unneccessary to do. As for the boarding and grooming part of the business(which is owned but not ran by her) I would never take my animals to them. Animals are given the bare minimum of attention and the groomers are cold and uncompassionate towards the animals.

Dr. Leese is one of those veterinarians that seems to put money above all else. She claims to do exotics, but she killed my parrot, and, as a professional, she should have listened to me when I told her not to anesthetize my bird. I would never recommend her for any animal medical care. She's a callous, uncaring woman, and acts as though she knows everything, and is very close-minded to advice or suggestions. Don't take your precious baby to her, no matter what kind of pet it is!!!

I have used Julia for 8 years for all types of veternary needs, she and her staff always made room for any type of need as quickly as possible usually within 24 hours for non emergency and immidiate for emergency. I had a dog with Lukemia and he spent many days there and the price was resonable. I have had to put down my favorite dog and they were compasionate and gentle throughout all of it. I definately would recommend.

Poor Service, unknowledgable staff and just rude. Will NEVER use again. Did not treat cat nicely at all. Found much nicer and friendlier vet.

Dr Leese is wonderful vet. She is very gentle with the animals and her charges are very reasonable.
