Dr. Van Slyke saved my Bentley Lab Retriever.He was at death's door.She was kind to follow up after I brought him home.I gave a 5 star rating overall to the staff, facilities, and punctually.As for the value, that's a tough one .People have told me vet prices in Toronto are cheaper than Kingsway if one takes the time to shop around.Sorry folks but it doesn't work that way.If you start with a puppy and take it in for checkups etc. each and every year you will know if you're getting hosed.If you feel that way, it's time to look elsewhere.As for medication, I know I can get them a lot cheaper elsewhere. It's a trade-off.You may save a few bucks elsewhere but the bottom line is "quality and knowledge" of care for your pet.I never looked back from the care Bentley received for Dr. Van Slyke and staff these past 12.5 years.

Our dog is about 2 years and we've been going here since she was a puppy. Waiting room, 2 consult rooms, XRay, Surgery and Boarding. I hate bad service and a couple of people have ruined things and we won't be going back. Pattie is a great VTech, visit when she's working. Margie didn't review my dog's chart and I kept having to correct her and point out tests, exams and xrays that she wanted me to pay for that had occurred 2 or 3 times? After a very annoying phone call, we had to pick up meds and she HID in the back? Alex has a genuine love of animals but gave me medication and didn't mention it needed to be put in the fridge! More bills/tests/visits. Dr. Grieve was our favorite Vet. Receptionists Alyshia and Peggy are great and super helpful too! Too bad that there are part-time receptionists that are rude, keep you on hold for long periods of time with frequent "hold please" or "what is it you're looking for again?" messages only to tell you to call back and speak to the day shift.
