DO NOT trust them. The 2 vets, a husband and wife, first ignored my dog's symptoms (both in person and my description), refused to believe me when I said he had a bad bladder infection (they did a test which somehow came back negative despite his having a hard time passing urine, due an inflamed ureter, and tons of discharge). Then they prescribed a medication which, upon research after the fact (my mistake--i trusted the pros blindly and my dog paid for it), was not to be given to large dogs under 12 months old (mine was 8 at the time) or they WILL have problems with cartilage development. Since then, my dog's joints have popped like crazy, though with supplements the popping has been reduced with time. I'm considering legal action,as I expect my dog will have problems later in life from this and my peace of mind has been destroyed.
