We have been bringing our Siamese cat Babe to the Galt Animal Hospital for 14 years now. We started when she was 12 weeks old. Before we had Babe we had another Siamese Cat, Newton, who lived to be 22 years old. When she became very ill and her kidneys shutdown and it was time for her to pass on, the Staff were super kind and compassionate and looked after her. It was very sad for our family, but it was the right thing to do. Since her time had come. The Staff are wonderful, very kind and very good at looking after Babe. We have been looked after by Dr. Rideout and Dr Steckle, both are wonderful vets. Fortunately, Babe has not had many problems and we are mostly there for her yearly checkups and needles. But when she has had a problem, the staff have been very good at booking her in very quickly so she can be looked after. I have recommended Galt Animal Hospital to many friends that own pets, they to have been very satisfied. Yours truly, Joyce & Scott Buell.

We primarily deal with Jacquie Rideout. We have been with her for 14 years. My older dog pulls to get in the door. If she sees Jacquie with another dog... well it is not good. Amazing support staff too. We have been through a dog death, major surgery and the regular stuff too. there is no other vet for us. We have just moved to Kitchener, but I will be travelling to Cambridge to see Jacquie and staff.

I have been to all three vets at this clinic and they're all great! Being a new dog owner I was unsure of many things and they put my mind at ease. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They give options but don't push on you. When my dog was attacked by another dog they got me in right away for a check up. The front desk staff is great too; always helpful when I would call on the phone (like when my dog was throwing up all morning, they calmed me down and gave me some advice to just watch her with bland food that night instead of rushing me in for an un-needed appointment; she was fine). I moved out of the area so I can't visit them anymore but anyone in the Cambridge area I highly recommend this clinic! Their hours are good too; they are open at bit later in the evenings and on Saturdays which helps with my work schedule.
