The staff is incredible. Specialists in all areas and 24 hour hospital. My dog was admitted as emergency and was well taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone.

We have used this facility in the past, and had surgical interventions done. Two dogs have been treated there.We needed to take our third dog there,non speciific Nausea Vomiting Diahrrhea,the gave us an estimate and demanded that the deposit be paid in full prior to them treating our dog, with no exceptions. Not only did they request $ prior to treatment, they demanded the full 1000.00 for NVD in advance.They assured me we did the right thing bringing in our dog, that he could get worse, and yet,demanded this exorbitant deposit prior to treating.I offered 500.00 with balance paid when dog picked up, they said NO THis for clients who had used them before, three times, and each time the emergency/surgery deposit was not nearly 1000.00 . ANd paid in full at each pickup. Unyielding to financial concern of the client sums it up.

I noticed that this emergency hospital is rated for seeing birds. Well, they don't see any birds or other exotic animals. I found that out the hard way, after getting their number from my veterinarian's answering machine, then driving there with my bleeding parrot, only to find out they don't see birds. They were very nice and the place looked OK, but the extra time I wasted before finding a place that will treat birds on emergency (FVS in Tampa) is a big problem.

I highly recommend this clinic for emergency care. I've been to every emergency clinic in Tampa and this clinic, by far, offers outstanding care and fair pricing. While emergency care is expensive, and despite the money I've spent during many emergencies, I never felt any unnecessary treatments/products were pushed on me. Their philosophy is to stabilize an animal first then to discuss the plan and costs with the owner, rather than to insist upon payment up front or no service at a loss of time and care to the animal. I've seen others come in with little money and saw the good will extended towards them. One girl was asked only for $5 as a good faith payment to treat her dog. This clinic also treats stray & wild animals who obviously cannot pay. They also are open 24 hrs. Most importantly, while I was there, I spent considerable time in the emergency treatment are with my near-death dog and witnessed the constant kindness expressed by all drs and vets to all of the animals.
