On July 29, 2015, I took my dog in for a dental cleaning. I received a phone call from Dr, Meza, stating that my dog needed a tooth extraction, which I gave permission to do. The next phone call I received was that my dog had to be transferred to Valley Central Emergency Care Facility. To make a long story short, my poor sweet, healthy girl is dead. Apparently the balloon at the end of the breathing tube was blown up to much. This caused a 7.5cm (almost 3 inches) tear in Shordi's trachea. She was a chihuahua, weighing 12 pounds, so 7.5 cm is a huge tear for her size. Banfield in Fullertown along with Dr. Norany Meza-Mankita KILLED my dog.
A week later I received a phone from the director wanting to know if I had any questions. I asked what disciplinary action was taken against Dr. Meza for killing Shordi. I was told no action against her at all!!! Unbelievable!! They all sat down together 2 days after they killed my dog, and discussed how they can do it better for the next patient.
