I have had so many different things happen that I cannot mention them all here because you only allow 1000 words. Your place uses "scare" tactics to make more money for unnecessary things to be done to make more money. I am made to feel my animal will die if I don't do what is suggested. That is why I am moving all my animals to a place that is honest and more concerned about my animals. I have spent thousands because of this.

Anyone that knows about pet care would know that Dr. Apker and the Animal Wellness Center provide exceptional service. She is a very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I find that she cares about my pets and understand my fears about what might be wrong and assure me that everything will be OK. I have never experienced a situation that she would just throw some drugs at a problem instead of searching for the right diagnosis, finding the problem then recommending a solution. I believe that when I go to her hospital, I am getting the absolute best care. This starts from walking in the door and being greeted with a smile. I get the personal attention from a technician who talks with me, not just at me, and then promptly move into a warm exam room to discuss my pet with a doctor. My pets problems have not all been easy ones but I have always walked away feeling that everything had been done to give them the best quality of life. I recommend Dr. Akper to everyone I meet.

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Apker for 23 years. She is an excellent diagnostician. In one instance, she correctly diagnosed that medication had caused 2x daily seizures, after 9 other veterinarians had wrongly dismissed my concern that the medication had caused the problem. The medication was stopped and the seizures stopped and never returned. She also saved the life of my sister's Bernese Mountain Dog, after 2 other vets had failed to find the cause of his urinary bleeding. She successfully treated the condition, and it was the first reported case in the nation of this treatment in a puppy, and only the second reported case of this working on any dog. I have found her to be incredibly compassionate and she has gone the extra mile for my dogs, taking them home with her overnight to avoid a stay in the emergency vet clinic after surgery on more than one occasion. There is no one else I trust with my dogs.

I will respectfully disagree with the negative posts. Dr. Apker has saved my pet's lives on more than one occasion after previous vets made a bad diagnosis. Yes, her clinic is busy but I found that the staff was professional and attentive to my needs and the needs of my pet. Plus, Dr. Apker's pet hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association...making it one of the top veterinary clinics in the nation. As for Dr. Apker's absence...well I am aware that she has had health issues, but the other veterinarians are also top notch! I would not hestitate to take my pets to the Animal Wellness Center and make recommendations to friends all the time.

I used to go to Dr. Apker, but know she is so cold and seems only interested in my wallet. She also is very rarely in, which I find extremely inconsiderate.

Building is cold and not welcoming. Receptionists are curt and do not look up when clients come into the building. The staff seems very unorganized. Dr Apker was knowledgeable, however, she was also condescending and the appointment seemed rushed. Prices seemed very high.
