Ravenwood is a RIP OFF. They never have open appointment times and their vets try to prescribe things that the pet doesn’t need. My dog had a UTI and I proved that with a urine dipstick test. I was told I needed to do another one through their clinic even though I am board certified to run these tests. They charged $40 for a test that costs less than $0.50. Then they refused to give my dog antibiotics and made me accept a $50 probiotic because she wouldn’t pee on command for them. I brought her sample back later that night and she was diagnosed with a UTI and given an antibiotic that OF COURSE I could not buy cheaper somewhere else. Then they refused to let me return the $50 probiotic that was unopened and we never used because she needed antibiotics not a BS homeopathic treatment. Overall my brand new puppy’s UTI cost $250. It would cost the same amount for a human to get treated at a walk-in clinic. The owner is refusing to let us return the unopened probiotic because they claim they

Called in w/an emergency and was disappointed that staff didn't try to get us in, even on a waiting basis. Had to go elsewhere for care, although we've been longtime customers.

Drs. Hawn, Whiton, Wagnon, Frost, & Versteeg. are all good, except don't rely on just the vet to put symptoms together when your animal is seriously ill. Look for outside sources of info., like web blogs, Entrez PubMed, other sources. We had a heartbreaking experience.

Excellent personal care for pets. The new clinic is very nice. Dr. Versteeg is great!

Dr. Whiton is a wonderful vet and I highly recommend her for general care as well as for Chinese medicine/acupuncture.

A-Plus and The Doggie Chalet love the Ravenwood Vets. The ladies here are very caring and good people. Prices are right! They truely care about all the pets that come thru the door.
