We just moved here 9 months ago, and Waterhouse came highly recommended with the note that they were the "expensive" vet in the area (Expensive is relative, they cost less than half of our vet back east). They have been great both in the attention they give our three greyhounds, and in how quickly they are able to squeeze us in for appts. One of our boys had an ear infection, and I called at 3PM on a Friday afternoon, they had us come on over and ever stuck around late to make sure he was seen. Their staff has also been very friendly to us and the doctors are fairly knowledgeable about greyhounds, which can be hard to find.

I took my toy fox terrier mix into Waterhouse after i noticed weakness in his rear left leg. A vet looked at him & put him on pain meds when they didnt do ANY test, no xrays, blood test, nothing. A few days later he was so bad he could no longer walk or stand. I took him back & the same vet took xrays & then told me he either needed a $5000 surgery or be put down & I needed to make the decision in a couple of days because "he wont get any better & will continue to get worse".Yet that very night after they did nothing but charge me $400, he stood up & walked around and was noticeably better. I took him to Woodward pet hospital the next day where the gave him a shot of cortizone(which waterhouse never offered)and within a week he was back to his normal playful self and the total cost was only $80! Waterhouse cares about money, not your animals life. They suggest putting animals down when they cant find the problem. Their neglegence almost cost me my dogs life. DON'T GO TO WATERHOUSE!

I have taken my 3 dogs there now for 3 years. I love Dr. Waterhouse! She spends a lot of time going over each dog during their annual exam and gives wonderful advise. She has been instrumental in diagnoising one of my dogs with allergies. This has helped considerably in giving some confort and relief to my dog. The vet we changed from couldn't do that in 4 years and just kept charging me more and more . I couldn't be happier. The front desk staff is helpful. The vet tech we seem t always get is amazing! The facility is always clean and free of dog hair in the exam room. Dr. Waterhouse is always on time for us!!!! They are a little more expensive than some of the other vets in town but their professionalism and caring out weighs that.

I saw blood in my dogs stool took him in they found nothing wrong his condition got so worse took him back they said nothing to worry. Then one morning i saw blood all over my bed and it was dripping found out becterial infection growing he would have died if i was late. Not only waterhouse over charge not everyone knows what they are doing. I went to tell them all they said O....WOW and my friends dog they could'nt figure out what is wrong so they decided to put him to sleep. Another person i met they said your dog will die within a week cancer is so bad took her to UCDavis lived great life for 3years.
