The vets at Ace Animal Hospital are not very knowledgable. They misdiagnosed my cat and it ended up costing me a lot of money.

I have a Chi that was really sick, so out of desperation, I took my dog here. Worse decision EVER!
Here is the facts:
* Chi went in and was told by the Dr. he would require a night stay w/ xrays $588
* Dr., told us he still had the****s but they needed to do x-rays and then we could pick him up.
When I called to see if he was ready, both doctors could not tell me if they did the x-ray or not. The dog had to stay overnight again. $288
*Next day- no x-rays were done yet in the morning when I checked in. Later that afternoon, they called us to go there so we could speak with the main doctor.
** the chi has a blocked small intestine and will require emergency surgery..$1000+ cash up front. We were told came back tomorrow w/ a decision. Bill $488 for this visit. PLus the doctor said it would be $250 a day to keep him there.
Next day we picked up the dog, he was lathargic, unable to walk, he was bleeding from his bottom, unable to eat or drink.

My dog was just mis-diagnosed. They required $1600 cash upfront to do Emergency surgery or he was going to die..took him to another vet..he was recovering in a day. hmmm something is wrong here

I love this place.I am very happy with the care I am recieving for my 4 months old Chihuahua.Vets there are very nice, experienced and thorough.They take time to explain everything upfront.Staff is also very friendly and well trained.They have all the latest equipment to take care of pets.I highly recommend this place to everyone for their pets.
