We've always loved taking our dogs to Dr. Henehan. His staff has always been great to deal with. He recently sold his business to Dr. Steffen. All of the old staff is gone and although the new staff is friendly, Dr. Steffen is NOT. She was extremely rude and aggressive to me over the phone. We'll be looking for another vet for our three dogs. I will not give her any of my business.

Dr. Henehan and the staff at Henehan Animsl Hospital are knowledgable and caring. We have taken five dogs over the past 18 years to Dr. Henehan and we couldn't be more pleased with the level of care, friendly staff and monetary value. Highly recommended !! I would never recommend this vet to any of my friends and family. He gives out medicine that's supposed to be refrigerated without having refrigerated it or telling me to refrigerate it; he doesn't spin blood samples that are supposed to be spun; he's extremely reactionary: he jumps to negative conclusions about my pet's health. In more than one case I found out after quitting him and going to a more competent vet that my pet was not at all dire or endagered; he yells at his staff; he does his exam in a public part fo his office where all the waiting clients and staff can see & hear what's going on when he has an exam room with a closed door which he doesn't use.

This vet practically abused my 9 week old puppy and reprimanded me saying "he was disobedient". He jerked his head and forced his neck down to rip hair out of his ears. My puppy has never cried at night, and the night we got home from his vet visit, he did not sleep and cried the whole night.
