Dr. Smith is knowledgeable about both veterinary practice as well as positive reinforcement techniques. We'll never go to anyone else!

Never have I met a more caring staff, she and her husband rock in my book! They have been out to my house to check on my baby after surgery, in a snow storm, in the middle of the night. I would recommend her to anyone

Dr. Smith is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She spends the necessary time with patients and answers any/all questions. She goes out of her way to follow up on patients and even takes calls at home. I highly recommend Dr. Smith!1

On our first visit to Jennifer Smith at Desert Hills Animal Clinic, she had the sad duty of informing us our dog had terminal cancer. She obviously was distressed at having to give us such sad news. She provided us with various options for prolonging Mack's life but did not think less of us for deciding on palliative care only, since he was elderly. Her whole staff treated us with compassion as Mack declined. Finally, when we had to put him down, she handled the task with professionalism and dignity. In fact, we actually had a little wake together, talking about what a fine dog Mack was. I've had to put several pets down, and this was by far the "best" experience (if one can call it that) I've ever had. Afterwards, she sent us a sympathy card, and on our next visit (with our other dog), she gave us a fired clay imprint of Mack's paw. I have never known a vet so technically competent and genuinely caring. Jennifer will be our vet forever (or until she retires!)

You will not find a better, more caring vet than Jennifer Smith at Desert Hills Veterinary Clinic. In fact, the entire staff at Desert Hills provides exceptional customer service to both pets and their humans. The price is reasonable, too. If you live anywhere in northeast Albuquerque, make the drive to get your pets to Jennifer Smith. It's that simple!

Best vet in town! Jennifer Smith is very caring and cares for my dog as if it were her own. She goes out of her way to help her clients with their pets. Very clean facility, too!

Warm, inviting clinic with a clear love for animals. Always treats your pup or kitty as if they were their own. It's obvious these people love what they do and realize how special our furry little friends are to us. All of the doctors are fantastic and the staff is phenomenal!
