Dr. Luc Lavoie has been my cats vet for close to 20 years and I am very please with his service. He is gentle, kind, a good listener and very knowledgeable. The equipment and exam room is cleaned and sanitized before my pets go in. He has spayed both my cats without problems . He has removed stones in one of my cats without issues and extracted a couple of teeth from the other cat without issues. I highly recommend him.

We've been taking our pets to this clinic since it was owned/operated by Dr. Thompson (two owners ago). We always loved the TLC our cats and dogs got over the years so we decided to stay with the clinic when it changed hands a couple of times. I can't say enough about Luc and his care for my furry family members. However, in the past several years their options for payment plans have disappeared. You have no choice but to pay the whole bill by cash, credit card, or debit, which has been a problem for my family in these economic times. We've seriously had to consider switching to another clinic farther away from our home that has more flexible payment plans so that we can take care of our pets responsibly. We would really hate to leave, but do have another clinic in mind if it comes to that.

I came here researching an animal hospital and Dr. Lavoie came to mind when he was on Progress. He was my vet for many years before I moved from Scarborough. I remember him as a very kind man. He was the type to take a blind discarded animal or three legged critter under his wing and home to be loved. I would often make the first appointment on a Saturday and he would roll in in his little clunker not caring about being materialistic. Once I called five minutes to closing in a panic as my young cat was having seizures. He waited for me and took care of my furry son. Once I had a cat who was very sick and I had to make the dreadful choice for her. I was devastated and he was so sympathetic to me with a baby on one hip and a 7 year old in tears. He took my baby and out her snowsuit on tending to her and bundling her up while my other daughter and I said our good-byes. Dr. Lavoie never billed me for that cat and her stay and him trying to save her life. Thank you Dr. Lavoie.

I started going to see Dr. Lavoie at Progress Veterinary before they moved here. I followed here simply because I've never had a better experience anywhere else. Dr. Lavoie loves the animals, takes time to explain everything, and has a great sense of humour.

I 2 have had this clinic for all my pets since childhood. I briefly strayed to another clinic which was also good but they got into the recommending everything & anything 4 $$ so I left. I think this is the most honest clinic around & Dr. Lavoie will not needlessly tell u to buy products or do procedures that aren't necessary. They do care 4 ur pets & try to keep costs reasonable. I live far away & just drove 1hr in rush hr, bad weather becuz I know there is no better clinic where I live.

Dr Lavoie is truly compassionate about animals. He has taken great care of my pet even and notices the smallest details. I have gone to him for years and only trust him. Perhaps it's his great love for the animals, it's become alot harder to get appointments specifically with him on short notice. So I may have to switch vets and find one with better availability.

First impressions last! I had made an appointment a week ago to see Dr. Wong today and was told by the girl over the phone that the consult would be FREE. This afternoon the clinic was empty except for one client who was leaving. Dr. Wong was great at explaining vaccines, different diseases and answered all of my questions. No doubt she is a good vet. HOWEVER when I was leaving I was told to pay a $75 consult fee!! I was VERY unimpressed since I was misled and given false information and there was no way for me to prove my side. I think as good customer service, they could've charged me half to make up for their mistake. But they did not offer any kind of compromise!! After meeting Dr. Wong and Dr. Lavoie, I was seriously considering taking my pup (who I will be getting soon) to this clinic, but after this experience, I will definitely NOT. This demonstrates they are unwilling to admit fault and take accountability, which might mean trouble for your pet and bank account later on.

I can't say enough about Dr. Luc and his team. Highly professional, very knowledgeable, proactive, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to return my dog and cat to good health!

Dr Luc and his staff are very caring. They are friendly and excellant with the animals. He spends the time to explain things. He has looked after my dogs and cat for numerous years and I would never think of changing vets.

Could not have asked for a better clinic-----They are very professional & caring. Our Lucy had to be put to sleep last year due to advanced cancer & Dr Lavoie & his staff made a difficult situation that much easier---Should we be fortunate enough to 'add' to our family again, we would not hesitate to ask Dr Lavoie to care for our new addition as well.

I dont know about this clinic but Dr. Luc Lavoie is the best vet i've ever come across. i feel that he is in this business not because of money but because he genuinely cares about animals. I used to take my cat to progress clinic in Scarborough before i moved to mississauga and to this date i still haven't found some one like dr lavoie in mississauga. i think im going to call him up and thank him and ask him if he knows a genuine truly caring vet in mississauga area.

The staff are wonderful. Dr.s Lavoie and O'Reilly were kind and sensitive. You can tell that they truly care about your pet. At some offices I feel that they are only concerned with how much they can charge you.

Dr. Luc Lavoie is from the Progress Vet Clinic before it moved in with Cedarbrae Clinic. He is a marvelous and very caring Dr. We have gone to him for years with all of our animals !!! He knows his stuff and will help with all types of problems.
