Time to update this websites ratings. It's now 2022 and none of the issues I read below exists today. We are so grateful for Dr. Brett and his amazing staff. The experience was great from the time we entered the door until we walked back out of it. Our big loveable lug, Rock, absolutely loved them. He even went into the lab on his own to have his nails done and blood drawn without hesitation. He has never done that before so that says a lot. I have already recommended Canyon Small Animal Clinic to a good friend and will continue to tell everyone I can. Thank you for being the first to answer every question and concern we had. We are on the right track now and look forward to future visits. Thank you!!!

I previously went to a vet in Caldwell that for the most part did a decent-good job. I just hated walking in the front door as the staff there just seemed to hate their job. I have now found Dr. Bauscher who is very knowledgeable and I don't dread having to check in at the front desk. The people at Canyon Small Animal enjoy their job and each other. It is quite a nice change!

I have never saw a Vet who could care less about the animal but was more into marketing products for sale at high prices. They are close to me but I will never go there again.

Bad experience. Front staff completely rude, my dog had cheat grass between his paws and the doctor completely hacked his feet while shaving them even though I told him my dog had a grooming appoinment this week. He also said I needed to learn a little restraint when my dog kept jerking his foot away. The clippers were hot! I would jerk my foot away too. After the appointment he didnt even perscribe me something for my poor dogs razor burn. I have no intentions on ever going back there.
