I was happy with this clinic before as I found the vets (Dr. Wu & Dr. Hugh (not sure how to spell her name) patient and thorough. But one of them has left the clinic, and now the new vet, Dr. Chung always seem to rush through the calls and has no patience explaining the issues. My experience with Dr. DeRose has also been less than positive. I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone else. I had recommended them to others before but not anymore, not with their current vets.

I took my beloved cat to this clinic for pass 12 years. It was good at the beginning but things have changed. The nurses are good. But the doctors don't seem to care much now.

Amazing clinic! Thank goodness I found this clinic the other night when my dog swallowed a nail! There was no clinic in the area that was willing to see him as it was late at night and he was not a regular patient. Thankfully Cachet agreed to see him and Dr. DeRose performed the surgery that night! Dr. DeRose stayed late to do this surgery and I am beyond appreciative of this! When my dog went home Dr. DeRose gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to call him if there were any issues, there weren't any issues thankfully but I thought that was amazing that he provided that service! Highly recommend this clinic!

I have had mixed feelings about this clinic. Made me spend thousands of dollars for a ligament surgery on an 11 year old large dog that died few months later on cancer on another leg, that his groomer detected, but Dr DeRose ignored. The TPLO itself wasn't very successful either. Now with new pup, I find Dr DeRose barks at me more than my dog, he is irritable, unfriendly, rough with my dog, then complains I can't control the dog he is hurting. Oversells medication, so even the smallest condition costs hundreds of dollars. Strange to be treating so badly a customer that spent thousands of dollars there, including optional treatments. Will not be going back.

This was the 5th vet I've taken my pets to in Markham. I've finally found a great vet! Dr. DeRose is calm, knowledgable, honest and not pushy. He doesn't try to guilt you into buying products or services. He explains the problem and the remedy and leaves the choice to you. I highly recommend this clinic.

Please do not repeat our mistake: find a good doctor while it is not too late!
Each appointment with Dr. DeRose cost minimum of $400-500. Dr. DeRose liked to provide variety of “cosmetic” tests, like checking eye dryness, or checking the ears in order to find something to be treated and to prescribe some comfort overpriced medication for us. Any other more serious tests results he had to discuss with a specialist for an additional charge of $70-80.
In summer 2013 we paid over $3,500 to Dr. DeRose for a minor surgery on the doggy’s paw and the dental, but Dr. DeRose did not even note a life threatening problem in the blood test at that time. This resulted in our dog’s recent passing, as the kidney problem progressed to its final stage resulting in deadly failure.
Finally in 2015, we changed the clinic, but it was too late to fix a deadly problem, that started 2 years ago in the summer of 2013.
Please do not repeat our mistake: find a good vet. Doctor while it is not too late!

This clinic has a tone that resonates with each visit: your pet matters. Once, I was a little nervous when I saw that they called out of the blue. They were making sure my dog's ear infection was still fully cleared. This clinic is professional but also genuinely caring. More than what they have done for me though, my friend's 14-15 year old dachshund was likely on her last few months before going here. That dog could only walk for about 5-10 minutes before needing to lie down again (this dog had a different vet) and was missing much of her hair. When I got my dog I looked up ratings and found this clinic. Since I was going, my friend brought her dog to Dr. DeRose who immediately knew she had a thyroid problem. That was almost four years ago. Yesterday, I walked that dog, who has grown her hair back, for an hour. That dog would have died years ago, if not for the intervention at this clinic. I wouldn't trust my dog's care elsewhere. Many thanks from a beagle foxhound and a dachshund.

My dog was diagnosed with cancer recently and it is a very sad journey. My heart goes out to all owners of pets with cancer. Dr. DeRose has been very helpful and supportive as my dog fights this horrible disease. He has taken the time to call and ask how our dog was doing after surgery (at a specialized clinic) and returns our calls the same day. During this hard time, it is great to have a vet who truly cares about his patients.

I found Dr. DeRose to be very cold to my dog and me. He wasn't very gentle with my dog at all. And does not like to explain problems or answer questions. He charged me $400 to MISDIAGNOSE my dog. I later heard he has done this to many clients. So Beware!! He doesn't take responsibility when his surgeries go wrong and instead denies when the issue has obviously persisted. His rates are quite high and delivers poor quality!!! I won't be going back.

I have brought my dog to Cachet Village and Dr. DeRose for the past year and have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. DeRose has always showed myself and my dog lots of compassion, I find him to be a very kind vet. He did an excellent job removing an abscessed tooth that was causing him pain and eye discharge. I find the staff to be very caring, friendly and efficient. Thank you Cachet and Dr. DeRose for taking care of my dog!!

The only thing i can honestly say about this clinic is Dr:Braganza is a great doctor she is caring and she truely loves her job also the hospital its self is very nice and clean as for the rest of the staff no comment please shop around first before going to this clinic every one seems to be confused not very responsive i stood waiting by the door for 15 min not one person ask me if i needed help or said hi to me and they seemed very unorganised so after my 15 min of being ignored i left not happy.......

I have been going to Cachet Village with my cat for a few years because of Dr. DeRoses' caring, knowledgeable, and professional attitude. My cat was recently feeling very unwell and I took her to see Dr. DeRose. Due to her serious condition he treated her and very promptly referred me to a specialist. He also took the time to follow-up after my visit to the Internal Medicine Specialist. I was equally impressed with the compassionate nature of the staff at Cachet Village Animal Hospital.

I found the receptionist and people working there to be extremely off-putting and rude. I waited patiently as the receptionist chatted it up with someone. But after the person left I just stood there..and stood there..it was as if she saw me but didn't care if I was there or not until I finally just spoke up and asked "excuse me..?" its as if I was invisible. I don't know if it was the way I look or what my age would appear to be but..I found it rude and it's disappointing. Prices were high as well.

After researching about the vet clinics in Markham, we decided to bring our puppy here. She's been seeing Dr. Braganza and we have had great experiences each time! The staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Braganza is patient, thorough, and very caring!

I switched to Dr. De Rose on the recommendation of a vet tech friend, after years with another vet that I no longer felt comfortable going to. Dr. DeRose is calm, courteous and willing to listen to all my concerns. He does extensive research and will consult with colleagues that have specialized expertise on complex medical matters to ensure that he always proivdes well thought through and innovative options for his furry patients. When the time came to put my cat down, his compassion and that of his staff was heartwarming. Fees are comparable to other clinics possibly on the higher end, but worth it as he uses all new technology and keeps up with the latest research and innovations in vet medicine. Highly recommend!

Dr DeRose is cold and unwelcoming. I've done my own researches about alternative treatments and proactive well-care and asked him about his thoughts on that. He dismisses the concept entirely, and wasn't prepared to answer any of my questions. He charges quite high for simple procedures (neutering is $560+)without discussing the fees with us before-hand. The facility is clean. Vet-techs are not well educated and can't take ownership of the problems when you make emergency phone calls.

We shopped around for quite some time for vets and didn't know what to expect since we had just gotten our first dog ever. We were pleasantly surprised when coming to Dr. DeRose's office. His vet techs are very kind and accommodating. Dr. DeRose is a great vet and he never tries to pressure us into buying products or services that we don't need. He showed us how to clean our dog's ears and got down on the floor with him to show us how to do it ourselves. We brought our second dog in to his office to have her spayed and she came out with only 3 stitches and was her happy little self that same day. I posted something on Twitter the next day about her crying the whole night after her operation (she was afraid of her post-op cone), and he tweeted me back asking if she was okay. He is a very kind and caring doctor. He does not over-vaccinate your pet as he performs Titer testing before administering a vaccine. Dr. DeRose will be our vet for as long as we have a dog in our family. A++++++++!

Today I took my sick cat into Cachet. He was diagnosed with some kind of fatty liver disease. The examination went more smoothly than I thought and Dr. Derose sounded like he really knew what he was doing. The price was also below my estimate. Since my cat is going to be on IV fluids he needed to stay in the hospital, but Cachet is not open on Sundays, I was going to have to take him to the emergency clinic which supposedly cost around 700 dollars. Whhen I went to pick up my cat, Dr. Derose told me that he called the clinic in advance to ask for an estimate and it came out to be around 1200. He knew it was too expensive and way out of my affordability so he offered to let my cat stay in the clinic and he will come around to check a few time to give meds and monitor him on Sunday, the day he is off. Honestly I was very, very surprised at this offer, and also very, very thankful. I have no doubt he is a honest and caring doctor. I will recommend him to anyone.

After months of searching and visiting many clinics, my dogs and I are super pumped to have found Cachet Village Animal Hospital. Dr DeRose is a gem. His quiet, calm demeanor seems to relax my dogs whenever they're at the clinic. He shows genuine compassion towards his patients and a true passion for veterinarian medicine. Aside from one vet technician who is tad cold, the others are great.The facility is welcoming, very clean and modern. The cost of services are very good compared to other clinics. I would highly recommend this clinic to all.

Everyone at the clinic is very friendly and kind. But i found them to be a little unexperienced with my dog. But my dog is very unique and not that many people have heard/own this type of breed. In my town i would say only 2-3 people would have this breed of dog or any knowledge of it (including me). So i understand if they were a bit clueless, but it should have been their job to educate themselves on the breed the day before the appt or something. I felt like i was teaching the staff there about my dog's breed, when they were asking questions about him. If they knew my dog's breed they definatley wouldn't be asking these questions as if would be very obvious what the answer would be. So that was a bit fustrating as they didn't really know how to treat my dog in certain situations. But otherwise, everything else was great. Great prices and services. If your pet is a very common breed, i would recommend him. He definatley cares for his patients :)

After much research on this website, we picked Dr. DeRose to help our puppy with some teeth issues he had. Dr. DeRose took care of him very quickly and our little pup was back to normal in no time. We called around quite a few places and found that this place was one of the best value's around. We took a tour of the facilities and saw that it had very new and high-tech equipment like a laser scalpel and a laser healer to help wounds heal faster. I didn't see those tools at the other vet's I visited previously. The way I saw it, better equipment used + money saved + a very knowledgeable and honest vet = no-brainer to bring our little pup here. I would highly recommend Dr. DeRose!

This is a clean, friendly place. I never feel rushed, as Dr DeRose takes his time to explain things to me and returns my calls right away. I recently had my dog spayed here and would recommend him. I also have friends who come here and they are very satisfied with the service.

Dr. DeRose is a great vet! He saw my dog right away on the weekend when my regular vet could not see us. Everyone was very friendly and he answered all our questions and reassured us that our little guy was going to be just fine. The clinic was spotless and even our dog didn't seem nervous there. I will be coming here from now on, great hospital!

I was there this afternoon with my sick puppy which the clinic I had been going to for years had incorrectly diagnosed. Dr. DeRose was able to calm me down and explainned everything clearly and concisely. My puppy is feeling much better, lots of energy, when just the day before my old clinic was telling me there was no hope. Cachet Village saved my puppy, I will be referring lots of people there, the prices $ were very reasonable which is hard to find in a vet these days.

Dr. DeRose is extremely caring, professional and a highly skilled surgeon. He performed a hernia repair on my puppy and she was up running around the same day. I found Dr. DeRose to be very easy to talk to and he answered all my questions about the procedure.

I was just here today, Dr. DeRose was very attentive and clearly knows what he is doing. Their dog run has a heated floor, this hospital clearly cares about the comfort of their patients. The doctor was very kind, gentle and professional.

I had Dr. DeRose perform a C-section/spay on my Champion Chihuahua **** last June and I couldn't be happier. 2 puppies in great health, and Patch has no scar. He also spayed my 3.5 lb hydrocephalic Chihuahua Lexi. There is nobody else I trust more than Dr. D for surgeries. He has a keen eye for detail and does goes beyond the expectations of clients in order to have his patients at their physical peak. I highly recommend Cachet Village Animal Hospital!

I just got my dog back from his neuter surgery, Dr. DeRose did a great job, can can't even see a scar. I got great service right from when I brought my puppy to this clinic, nothing but good things to say.

my dog is having a hard time after neutered in this clinic.i understand they have to find the testicle of my dog, they didn't give me enough information and only answer my question in single word. my dog is around 7 pounds, it had 3 cuts and one of them is around 10cm. and it had post-surgery bleeding, when i took him back to clinic, they told me they remove his muscle during neuter which on one tell us after the surgery. i'm not impressed
