I took my cat to Atlantic Animal Hospital, in Delray for a check up and flea meds. On the phone the owner/vet Art Malernee told me it was $30 and to bring paperwork from my previous vet. I got to his office, filled out paperwork, he asked me questions about Halo and then asked how I was paying. He charged $41 on my CC for the visit and 1 flea treatment. After I paid, I asked him that while he did the exam, if he could take a look at my cat’s right side because I noticed a lump. He told me it would cost more money. I felt confused because It seemed as if he was not even going to look at my cat. I then asked "So are you not going to give my cat an exam? what was the $30 for?" He stated "The visit includes reviewing paperwork and writing a prescription for flea meds. I should have investigated him before because I would have found multiple negative reviews online and a F rating with the BBB. I hope this review will get people to think twice before going to Atlantic Animal Hospital
