This is the *worst* veterinarian I have ever dealt with. After they spayed my female, she went into heat. They told me they had accidentally left some ovarian tissue behind. After they neutered my male, he developed a scrotal infection. For a cat with feline asthma, they charged me nearly $400 for an echocardiogram. (Cats with feline asthma frequently have enlarged hearts, but *not* from heart disease). Other vets subsequently told me the test was not necessary.

NOT RECOMMENDED. Once, a vet tech made my usually unflappable dog yelp in pain by repeatedly attempting to draw blood incorrectly. Two years later I tried them again and was similarly unimpressed with the vet who made faulty assumptions later corrected by another vet. Procedures are performed out of sight of the guardian/owner. Waiting times can be excessive even when they're not busy. The waiting area has an obnoxious TV playing an endless loop of "hoarding expose" and other junky shows mixed with advertising. YUCK. Their prices struck me as average, but the quality of care is not good.

Very disappointed with Wheaton Animal Hospital. Vet we saw (Schwartz) clearly has a poor grasp of basic metabolic physiology. Result: incorrect diagnosis and incorrect, needless "treatments". Luckily, our current vet quickly identified our dog's problem and she's back to full health.
