Called ahead and asked for a vet familiar with the breed Kuvasz. Was assigned a cat vet who later admitted she had no experience with dogs and certainly knew nothing about handling a young animal bred to be a guardian/watch dog. She not only missed a severe ear infection resulting in severe pain and ultimately deafness but also mishandled the puppy causing severe distress in the animal. Repeatedly asked for another vet to no avail. In the end stopped all association with Steele Creek and will never go back.

Great Vet and very talented staff. Dr. Hutmaker is an awesome vet who utilized accunputure on our dog. The results were dramatic. The absolute downside to this facility is the pricing. They are good but really pricey. They sell shampoo for 14 and 18 that can be purchased at Petsmart for 8 and 10. RX are nearly double of petmeds.com so get a script and order from them. All said........as a pet owner you have to evaluate the care level versus the cost. This is a good team of doctors with a great attitude and genuine concern for your pets. Front desk staff could use a little customer service training....cold and aloof. AGAIN.....it is the doctors that are important and they are good.
