I rated the staff bad because as a puppy this was my dogs first vet. He had no issues with nail trimmings before but after an experience here (where I specifically heard him yelping loud from being held down and freaking out) he has never been able to get his nails trimmed without a sedative. We’ve tried trainers and vets that are more experienced with animals that have anxiety and he still hasn’t made much progress. This vet clinic ruined his experience with getting his nails trimmed.

Took my Great Dane there to be spayed. She almost bled to death. We got her to the emergency room just in time. Turns out she was left to recover on a cement floor rather then following giant breed protocal which states keep them warm and off cement. Dr. Karr should not be practicing.

took my great dane puppy in for distemper shots, 1 hr later her rear legs went lame. dr kahr said it was a bladder infection so 3 days in the hospital and antibiotics totalling over 500 dollars, she was ''cured''. Come to find out it was a reaction to the shot called hypertrophicosteodystruphy. Common in large breed dogs and treatable if found early. We took her to shively animal hospital where she was immediatley diagnosed properly. She will be put down tomorrow for the severity of the condition. If dr kahr had any expieriance with large breed dogs she could have been saved. Over priced by hunderds, in experianced, and always late i will never be back to this vet.

We have been taking our pets to this vet for nearly 8 years and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff are some of the best we have ever delt with and the vet is fantastic. She will come in at whatever time you need her and cares greatly for her clients. We couldn't ask for a better vet.

I have been going to this vet for 4 years now and could not be happier. When I rescued my dog, no other clinic would see me immediatly for her health problems and shots except Dr. Kaur. She told me to come right in and has been taking care pride and joy since. She makes it a point to get to know her clients as well as their owners which makes us feel very loved. I have barged in their numerous times without an appointment and they have seen me without a single complaint. You cannot beat that type of service. They love their clients!

Took a stray dog in for seizure treatment. Dog was small and disoriented from the seizures. Vet assistant, who was touted as good with animals, calmed him down by holding him very tightly. She was far too rough, unprofessional, and looked like a bouncer. Would NEVER take another animal back to this facility.

Took my dog in for a routine surgery (teeth cleaning) - they did not monitor my dog, locked him in a room & called and told us to come and pick him up. When we got to the vets office (within 15 minutes), they told us we could pick him up in this room. We went in and found him lying on the floor dead. There were tracks of **** around the room where he had been running. The vet or assistant didn't even know. The autopsy showed that he had gone into cardiac arrest -- which tells me he could have been saved... had them been monitoring him at all. We found out after the fact...that the vet had actually left the clinic before he woke up from the anethestic. We changed vets immediately -- as this dog was like a child to us. I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone... and if you currently go there... CHANGE!
