Columbus Veterinary Medical Center...Taking my business some place else.....so they talk me into a device that would "I thought" monitor my dogs heart for 24 hours 7 days a week in the hope of capturing a "pass out" event due to congestive heart failure. The price is $300.00. I agree and they order the device. I take my dog in and they wrap this device in cotton and tape, give me the dog and tell me to push the button when he has an episode and it will record for 30 seconds. The device is set for 5 episodes. Still I take the dog home and the next morning the wrapping has slipped down around his hind legs and yes he soaks it. Oh yeah and if the device beeps it means the leads have come undone. When I took it off him guess what..no beeps. I call them and ask if I can return it for a full refund and they tell me the cardiologist will only refund half. The device I got had been used, probably several times, before and the only money the cardiologist has spent is the shipping fee which I am
