HORRIBLE. EXPENSIVE. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. I would not recommend this vet to anyone who loves their animals. I took my healthy dog in there for a routine exam and heartworm/flea meds and it cost me well over $300!!! They charged me $104 dollars for 6 months of Frontline when you can get it for $70 online. I also found out that Frontline gave a friends dog seizures. I took the unopened boxes of Heartgard and Frontline back to Dogwood Animal Hospital for a refund and to request a prescription for Sentinal, which takes care of heartworms and fleas in one pill and only costs about 70.00 for 6 months. I was told that they will not issue refunds. I spoke with two techs and the doctor refused to come speak with me. If you have any doubts about this doc be sure to check out reviews Kudzu.com. They go way beyond not giving refunds. On the desk at check in there is a cup for pens that says "Ashes of Problem Clients".Hmmm....that should tell you something...
