I took my dog to Hollyberry when he was breathing really hard. I saw a male doctor that I was unfamiliar with. I was told that my dog had congestive heart failure, and the he would live for 14 - 15 months. He lived for 2 more hours. He was not admitted, and was only given lasicks and a heart medication and sent home. He had bloody fluid all around his body when he passed away, but I was assured that he didn't have pneumonia. Then, when I went to get a new dog, they said that I was a bad pet owner! We go to Crestview Animal Hospital now.

This is the worst vet I have ever dealt with! My cat was throwing up A LOT and had diarrhea as well. Dr. Fran Nicholson never took his case seriously. I would even argue that she is INCOMPETENT! It turns out he was put to sleep & to this day I regret that decision & taking him to her. Furthermore, her quote for his final bill was much higher than she told us! Also, out dog had bone cancer, which she failed to diagnose. We talked to her about when we would need to euthanize her and Fran said to call her anytime & she would come in to do it, or even come to our home. We called on a Sat night at ~ 11:30 & she stated she could not come in. She just tells you what you want to hear, but when the time comes when she is needed she cannot be bothered. "Doctor" Fran should not be practicing as she has no sincere interest in the well-being of her patients. I will forever think back on my beloved cat of 12 years and think of how she screwed up his case and neglected to properly care for him.

There are many veterinary practices in the area, and I took a leap of faith in choosing Hollyberry when I first moved here. Doctor Nicholson is brilliant, caring and practical. She tries to help you save money with pet meds whenever possible. I have boarded my two dogs at Hollyberry on over 20 occasions. The staff really does spend time exercising dogs who stay with them. They even trained one of my dogs to jump low hurdles while I was on vacation. They provide complimentary baths before you pick up your dogs from boarding. The facility is not new, but it is clean, safe, and has all the amenities that other vets have. It sometimes smells like, well, a vet clinic. In reply to the review below, somehow I don't think your dog really cares how pretty his vet clinic is. BOTTOM LINE: great staff, great service, practical prices, convinient location.

While the facility is just average I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Nicholson and all of the caring staff at Hollyberry. She has taken great care of all of our pets both present and past. I've seen the staff in action and they are great. When we have had to make the difficult decisions for pets I've witnessed them sharing our grief. Nothing but good things to say about Hollyberry.

This is the worst animal clinic I have ever been in. I feel like the doctor doesnt really care about the animals that are supposed to be in her care and the clinic itself is beyond disappointing. Its dirty and just plain gross. I will most certainly never bring my animal to her or her clinic and in my personal opinion it should be closed down.
