Dr. Jeff Mahany has the temperment of a two year old and will brutalize your animal if he’s having a bad day. This has all been witnessed first hand by me: He has dragged an 80 lb dog who was partially sedated through the clinic, knocking the dog on doorways. A dog came in for limping who was too frightened to examen so Dr. Mahany forced one of the tech to wrestle the dog while he very aggressively palpated the dogs back legs and lifted them well above the dogs head. Mahany then threw the dogs legs down on the tile floor and asked the dog “does that hurt?”. Cats have been slung with full force by their scruffs into their cages and small dogs have been choked out. Other doctors mention that he doesn’t dose patients properly and that he is a danger to their patients. Dr. Mahany is a 6-3 200lb man who acts like a child and has no patience for you or your pet. You wouldn’t belive the awful things he says about nearly every client. He loves to pull out his pocket knife for no reason at all.
