There is a line item on the invoice which states a Super Wellness Profile without a definition or discussion of what that is and represents a large chunk of the invoice. They are one of the most expensive hospitals I've visited. CareFirst Animal Hospital (which Oberlin is now called) is one of 5 and seems to be a corporate entity. Staff is not always attentive to detail when it comes down to indicating correctly why an animal is admitted either on the chart or on the computer.

I have been coming here for about one year. I am thrilled with the excellent care my Italian Greyhound and little Chihuaha receive. All the doctors are wonderful. I also like being able to pick up my pet from boarding on a Saturday or Sunday. I feel my animals are safe here.

I will not take any of my animals back here for any reason. Dr. Joe Gordon only cares about making a profit at the cost of the animals. His staff misdiagnoses animals regularly. Dogs are not monitored well during surgery, and as a result a lot of them either die or have complications. There is a lot of staff turnover because of bad management. The good vets and vet techs leave quickly. Don't be fooled by the high tech appearance of the clinic, it's not worth risking your animal's life.
