Dr. Engle has taken care of my rabbits and I am thankful for her and the Brookeville Animal Hospital. For both regular check ups and serious illness, she provides top notch care at affordable prices and is incredibly kind and helpful providing information and answering questions. I trust my bunnies are receiving the best care possible here and highly recommend this veterinarian.

We have been going to the Brookeville Animal Hospital about 13 years. At the time, our Bichon was 8 years old. Dr. Engel and her staff treated him until he had to be put down at 16. Our dog received nothing but outstanding care. When we got our next dog,Punkie,we took him immediately to Dr. Engel and have been going there ever since. Like our first dog, Punkie, loves going to the Brookeville Animal Hospital. The techs and vets treat him with love in return. We would never change vets. The office staff is always friendly and responsive. The techs are knowledgeable and friendly as well, and Drs. Engel and Kane are very competent and always willing to spend whatever time may be necessary to make sure our questions have been answered and our dog is receiving the proper treatment. Over the years, we have recommended the Brookeville Animal Hospital to many of our friends--all of them have been as happy as we are with the care their animals have received. Carole and Steve C.

I have been to many Veterinary Hospitals both in the US and overseas, Brookeville Animal Hospital is absolutely without comparison.
Dr. Hengel is a wonderful Doctor and human being. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also very compassionate. She cares about her patients no matter the size or specie in a way you can only see in human hospitals.
The staff at Brookeville is amazing, they are precise, alert, skilled and attentive as I found nowhere else. Every time I had to go to a different vet for time or distance issues I regretted. I highly recommend Brookeville Animal Hospital, they are the best I ever found, their service is fantastic.

I've been taking my furry family to Dr. Marcie Engle and her staff for many years and have always found them to be compassionate and caring. If we have had a concern, Dr. Engle and her staff have gone out of their way to answer our questions. When either of my dogs has become ill, the doctors at Brookeville Animal Hospital have been proactive and aggressive in determining the cause of the problem and in its treatment ... with excellent follow up. I recommend Brookeville Animal Hospital whole heartedly to anyone who loves their pets and wants the finest care available. Lois Bryan

The Vets and staff of Brookeville Animal Hospital are extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. They have always guided me in the right direction and have taught me about how to care for my dogs. They always take the time to answer my questions and I never feel rushed. They truly know my dogs and do everything they can to help us. My only complain is that, like everything else in the economy, is costly. They work with me, though, in making payments.

True animal passion best describes Dr. Marcie Engel,fellow doctors and staff. They truly go above and beyond for the well being of your pet. We have been with this practice for more than 20 years and will never go anywhere else. A previous poster stated that their fees were too high. Quality pet care costs money and if Brookeville's day to day costs were public information the previous poster would understand why fees are what they are. If you want the best care possible then give Brookeville a call. Your pet will thank you! Linda&Ron

The staff really cares. Even if this isn't the cheapest vet around, they provide very good care. The staff is friendly and eager to help. I've taken a dog and a guinea pig here and received very good care. As a matter of fact, my guinea pig was completely cured of severe respiratory problems that even the vet wasn't completely sure she would recover from. They really know what they're doing and they do it well.

“Show me the money vet.” Average vet with above average billing. Because of the billing routines I grade them below average. Play off the love you have for your pet. Start with a blood test, ca-ching. When the results are in they’re “concerned” about the results and want to run another test but need your permission, ca-ching, ca-ching. Ironically, new, more expensive test shows nothing not already known. Take an x-ray and repeat “concern.” Get permission and take more x-rays, ca-ching, ca-ching, ca-ching. I’ve been a victim of this a number of times. The last straw - my pet ran up nearly a thousand dollars in bills there because of this scheme. Went to another vet and in a single $150.00 visit the problem was solved.

I love Dr Kane and Dr Engel I trust my animals to them with anything! They are also very reasonable with prices.
