Click to report rating    2/10/20   1     3     1     1   My cat couldn't breathe and was VERY purple. They told me I’d have to pay at least $119 upfront for the vet to see her. After waiting for about 30 minutes They told us she’s on oxygen and will probably have to stay overnight and they would need to get X-rays. Now they tell me I have to pay $250 instead of just $119.after waiting another hour or so another vet comes in and says the tech was wrong and I would have to pay $572 for them to help her. They told me that if I couldn’t pay it then they couldn’t help her. The vet then suggested putting her down if I couldn’t pay it all up front.she even rudely added that this is something pet owners should be able to handle.she then recommended I take her somewhere else After calling the other place I find out they are even more expensive and still 30 minutes away. I manage to come up with the funds.after wanother 2 hours they come back and tell us she has asthma and that they were going to give me steroids After all is said and done it’s $614. RID: 69044
Click to report rating    10/20/11   1     1     3     1   I checked my dog in for boarding at the VCA near Sheridan & Mississippi and filled out the appropriate paperwork. I checked "NO" for the box that asked if my pet needed any vaccinations administered while staying there. During my absence, I got a call fom VCA saying my dog had been sick ever since they administered her vaccinations. I asked them to check the paperwork I had filled out, and they ADMITTED they had mistakenly given my dog shots. My previously healthy dog died within months of staying there. DO NOT USE VCA IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!! RID: 28457
Click to report rating    9/22/11   5     5     5     4   DR Kelly is exceptional especially with serious dental issues. She is also very generous and caring toward shelter cats, having donated numerous full mouth extractions for the shelter cats at Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue. Thank you Dr Kelly. RID: 27802
Click to report rating    10/16/06   1     1     1     1   HORRIBLE. This is the worst type of vet you can visit. Not only do they look at you like walking dollar signs, but they collect these dollars at the expense of pain for your pet. We took our cat in for a urinary tract infection. We were given an estimate, like a car repair, for nearly a grand. They refused to give antibiotics for him until they had put him under anesthesia to obtain urine to confirm that was the problem. They told us if we didn't want to do this, that it was a Saturday, few other places were open, and if he wasn't treated soon he might die. So we had a nasty choice we never should have had to make. They risked our cat's life unnecessarily and made off with $400 bucks, and merely confirmed it was indeed urinary and gave us antibiotic. This is a sick corporation. RID: 9
