I’ve been going to this vet since late 80’s. I believe I was one of dr Warmbrodt’s firsts. I switched after dr Warmbrodt left. I went once after he left and was treated awful. I didn’t bring anything but cash after calling for a price for my upcoming visit, while there I was told I had to have a blood test for my pup before I could get a refill on heartguard, I explained I had no charge card no check book, i was on a tight budget because my mom just died and I just went back to work after caring for her / the vet stuck the needle in my dog for the rabies shot and looked up at me and actually said, “well I have bills too you know.” That did it! I asked for my pup’s records and switched vets & the prices I pay now are less that what I was paying. BUT, I’d pay more if kindness & empathy were included in higher costs. I’m an academic dr and I’d NEVER treat any of my students the way I was treated. There are some things a professional should NOT say to customers, it’s common sense!

For almost 20 years, it used to be a great place to take my pets to. But ever since dr. John Warmbrodt became too busy with caring for horses, and Michelle Gundlach took over seeing small pets, things changed for the worst. Too many wrong diagnoses, too many requests to bring my pets for unnecessary blood tests (in order to get a refill for medications they had for years). Receptionists are nit particularly friendly anymore. To make the long story short: I am looking for a new vet.

Professional, caring staff. They know me by name and if I request an emergency appointment, they fit me in or the doctor and staff will stay late for me. They also understand I know my dogs and if I say something is wrong and it is subtle, they will keep working until the cause is found and recommend appropriate treatment. I can't say enough good things about this facility.

Our dogs have had an itching problem for years and we were told it was flea dermatitis. The medicine given works great but when finished with the treatment, the scratching begins again. Have spent hundreds and still have not resolved this issue. One dog has epilepsy and was prescribed a flea treatment that may not be used in dogs with seizures. I will never go back.

The receptionist was unperfeshional, and there facilities were far from luxurious.

These folks are wonderful. They are willing to listen to me and understand that I know a lot about my dogs as they work to determine what might be wrong and what we as a team can do to correct problems.
