Click to report rating    2/8/19   5     5     5     5   Dr. Jerry LaBonde is the best! He is the only vet I would trust with my 4 parakeets and my newly adopted labradane! Highly recommend!!! RID: 67330
Click to report rating    5/31/17   1     1     1     1   I took my 4 year old Dog, Lucas, into Homestead Animal Hospital for an ear infection. The Vet, who was new to the hospital, strongly urged that my dog be neutered. The day after the surgery, Saturday, I noticed that Lucas’ belly was very hard on one side. On Sunday it was even harder. On Monday morning the 10thApril, Lucas was breathing shallow and rapid, his belly was very hard as a rock, and a large bulging liquid soft mass had developed on his belly and chest which was about 12 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches deep. I immediately took him again into Homestead Animal Hospital. The Vet said it was normal. By 5 p.m. that same evening, Lucas began to shake profusely, was having great difficulty breathing and he refused to stand up. I rushed him to the VRCC hospital on Hampden Ave. Lucas was require to stay in intensive care for 4 nights at a cost of nearly $5,000. He had contracted a STAFF infection from the surgery at Homestead Animal Hospital RID: 63784

Click to report rating    4/26/12   4     5     5     4   Took my dog - Eugene - there for an annual check-up. Dr. Joseph was great - very personable and treated Eugene with thoughtfulness. Kept her on the floor so she wouldn't go through the "trauma" of getting on the exam table. Annual Exam cost $51.00; Leptospirosis Vaccine $26; Heartguard Plus $36.75 for six months amount. I gave the staff and monetary value a four because I was asking, over the phone, how much it would all cost and they left out the annual exam fee when they gave me the quote. Not the end of the world but should have been the first thing quoted. RID: 33785
Click to report rating    5/1/11   5     5     5     5   Dr. Labonde is an excellent rabbit vet. He has taken great care of our elderly bunny and is very knowledgeable. We moved out of state and still do phone consults with him because of his expertise and our satisfaction. We also saw dr. Summar when we first brought our bunny in and he is also a great choice in a vet for a rabbit. Very caring and knowledgable. Their tech staff is also top-notch in assisting with care and returning messages about concerns or inquiries. Great animal hospital! RID: 24733
Click to report rating    4/27/09   5     5     5     5   Dr. Labonde is the most reccomended avian vet in Denver. Excellent. RID: 12587
Click to report rating    8/4/07   4     4     4     3   Quite a nice vets office albeit a little pricey. Although I agree the Vet is excellent, customer service could be improved greatly with just a little effort. RID: 5477
Click to report rating    5/28/07   3     4     5     5   Very good vets, decent location, great reputation, especially with exotics and birds. The receptionists could be friendlier however. They aren't rude but they don't seem terribly jazzed about helping customers or greeting their animal patients either-just not that enthusiastic. RID: 4200
Click to report rating    4/24/07   5     5     5     5   I would highly recommend this clinic, especially if you have exotic animals. I had my rabbit spayed here last year, and I would not take my rabbits anywhere else but here. RID: 3614
Click to report rating    12/19/06   5     5     5     5   Dr. Tom Geiselhardt is the best vet I have ever come across. He is kind, sincere and loves animals which really comes across in his manner. He and his staff took excellent care of my puppy when he had to go into surgery at 8 months old and had to stay 3 days. My puppy is now a healthy 6 year old, thanks to him. His staff is super friendly and always helpful. If you have to leave a message for any of them, they return them in a timely manner. All of my dogs are strickly Dr. G's patients and I recommend him every chance I get. RID: 1354
