We have been going to this facility for a few years now and have nothing but great things to say about it. The staff and doctors are friendly and compassionate. This has been the norm for the entire time, except for last night (7/30/2013) when we brought our cat in for an exam. The vet on duty was a Dr. Edward Hamilton who is the most impatient, arrogant, and rude person that I ever had the misfortune to know. What is more unfortunate is the fact that this Dr Hamilton is the owner of this facility. He took offense to every question we asked. He acted as though we were challenging his knowledge as a vet. He practically told us that we shouldn't question him due to his 35 years of experience. I would like to say that we will stay with this hospital because of the other staff members, however, after last night's horrible experience, that possibility is now in serious jeopardy.

Dr Hamilton is a cranky old incompetent quack. Please check his schooling (New Mexico) and see if any scholarly articles (none) or any innovative procedures have been developed (none). Especially in today's economy, he will milk your wallet dry because the practice just does not do the business it should because of this old fool. His partners are suffering because Dr Hamilton is currently under investigation by New York State Office of Professional Discipline-don't believe me? call the Melville NYS Office of Professional Discipline yourself, and ask about Dr Edward Hamilton.

Was unhappy with my previous vet, it was a BIG practice, we always felt like just a number to them. This vet is much better, they seem to really care about your pet and are very accomodating. Only reason they got a "4" from me on facilities is because they aren't available 24 hours for emergencies like some animal hospitals are. Overall, we like this place very much!

I switched to this vets office because I was unhappy with my former vet. I was apprehensive at first but was totally surprised and happy I made the move. The staff is great and the Drs are wonderful.They care more about your pets than making money. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful service with no overbooking. We always get in right away and there are never a bunch of animals in the waiting area. Vets are extremely nice and they have helped to save my dog's life.
