Click to report rating    1/26/13   5     5     5     3   I brought my cat in with a potentially life-threatening condition at 2 am one night. She was having great difficulty breathing. The front office person was empathetic and professional. He took her back to the ICU immediately. My Vet was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. He spent a great deal of time with me explaining her condition. My nurses were attentive and caring. I was very happy with the care we received. The bill was quite high but I understand that it costs money to have an emergency practice. You can't expect to have highly trained staff, state-of-the art equipment and 24-hour care at nominal prices. Additionally, the office did work with me to try and come up with financial options that I could manage. RID: 39935
3/8/11   1     1     1     1   Unethical immoral. There is something really wrong when you take your pet in and are told your pet is getting emergency care, you pay for emergency care, but receive no care at all. Coco came in as an emergency case, my friend waited in the office all night, his fears for his dog were tooken advantage of. His dog had not even recieved pain management. They even tried to tell him his dog needed unnecessary care that 2 other vets said would cause un necesary pain RID: 23413
Click to report rating    2/1/11   3     4     1     1   Had bad experience here. Took in cat with labored breathing. Thought it was a cold. Within minutes of being there, was told his heart stopped? Had good staff and a few great doctors that helped him. He survived but only for a few days. Watch the front office as was given an estimate...then a few days later it magically doubled before the office told me the cost of their services. Service cost went from max of $3,000 to $6,000! I felt very taken advantage of? What choice did I have after the fact? Also they knew my cat was in a critical state...I was so upset! RID: 22523
Click to report rating    3/16/10   5     5     1     2   I feel that the care that they provide is excellent but waiting for a call back can be hell! I have had to call several times to speak with a doctor for test results and RX refills and this can be very stressful when you have a sick animal! They do provide good service while you are in their facility but after that it becomes difficult to get calls back! RID: 17077

Click to report rating    6/21/09   5     5     4     5   I have nothing but good to say regarding the physicians and staff here. Yes it is expensive but no more so than any other specialty vet. My 16 mo old Lab has just had THR done we are 1 mo post op. The care that he received was top notch. While he was in the hospital recovering the Ortho surg assit called me every day with a up date on his condition and progress. They were also available 24/7 for me to call if I was worried. They have rehab facilities, physical therapy facilities there too. It is truly a one stop shop for all serious veterinary needs. I must say that they are always busy, but I have never felt rush out of there because there was someone waiting. They have always taken time to explain everything to us. RID: 13244
Click to report rating    6/16/09   5     5     3     3   I highly recommend this facility. They have taken care of 2 of my cats in dire situtions. They had compassion for my cats and for me. They are willing to work with you to find avenues of treatment that fit your needs. You ahve to wait if you go in without an appt. It's an emergency clinic so that is expected. If you have an appointment, I have found that they were very prompt. The doctors do have to take ER life-threatening patients first. It's expensive, as is all medical care. I have found them to be fair and considerate of my financial and personal needs. RID: 13190
Click to report rating    9/3/08   2     3     1     2   I agree with other former employee - Dr.s and staff are overburdened- limiting time spent with patients and overall qualiy of care. Dr.s would take 30 minutes for morning rounds to check on patients; averaging 12 patients per dvm - that's less than 3 minutes per patient. When you see one of thier "specialists" ask if they are board certified. I'd recommend ACCIM. RID: 9853
Click to report rating    7/21/08   5     5     3     5   I received outstanding service when my 13 yr old dog had back surgery. RID: 9388
Click to report rating    6/18/08   1     3     1     1   As a previous employee of both, all I have to say is go to ACCIM. For the same money and effort, you will actually get good care for your animal at ACCIM. All-Care is a frighten company, where your pet will almost certainly be neglected. Click to report rating    4/4/08   1     1     1     1   Highly over priced and add unnecessary procedures to raise your bill! RID: 7931
Click to report rating    6/17/07   3     5     4     3   I've had really bad experiences with Dr Bruce Levine at VCA All Care FV in the treatment of my bird. It is odd, as he is one of a very few certified avian vets in this area. He was *extremely* rough in handling my bird, traumatizing the little guy even more than he already was. I found him to be a poor listener and not empathetic at all when I expressed distress over my bird's condition. He was very quick to suggest exploratory surgery on an animal weighing just over 2 oz, which I thought was dubious. A second opinion from a nearby avian specialist indicated surgery was absolutely unnecessary and that whatever small problems my bird had, they were not serious. I have a friend who has had even worse experiences with this vet in the treatment of her bunny. It's also curious that this vet has bounced around three times in the last few years, from Tustin to FV to Hawaii to FV. What's up with that? Oh the other horrid thing was that he stinks of cigarettes -- YUCK! RID: 4631
