On Feb 4 2014(staff refused to give my family a date/time/cause of death) I received a tragic phone call @ 8:53am that my beloved puppy, Eve,red Doberman, died @ the tender age of a health 4 yrs. young, during a routine procedure(spading)that Dr. Matthews boasted about preforming over 40,000 times in his career. After receiving the call my family was devastated but nothing would prepare us for the harsh treatment that awaited us when we went to retrieve Eve/personal items. The Dr & 1 Nurse in particular were so callous it vexed my spirit deeply. The Dr told me on the phone that Eve came in sick, then upon my arrival there was something else medically wrong, he cont to state how things were worsening but decided to perform the surgery w/out notifying me. This took place apx 10a 2/4. Later that evening my husband & I went to retrieve Eve @5:30 we were refused paperwork to prove that Eve was there & were faced with the police because the nursed lied & said we threatened her & Dr HORRIFIED
