Dr. Girouard recommended and performed an unnecessary surgery on my dog, misquoted the price severely and the rate went up 3x what our original quote was, a procedure was done without my approval, my dog was held for ransom, vet records were denied. After calling the IDFPR and finding out this was all illegal in the state of IL I vocalized this and my dog was then released to me with her medical records that were falsified. They claimed we were given another option outside of surgery which we were not and during surgery a tooth was extracted which was left off of the records along with numerous other mistakes. Clearly they are in it for the money and not out of any sense of care or compassion for animals in their care.
