4/20/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Langlois is amazing. I had never been to his clinic, but was turned away by the emergency clinic in Grand Rapids because they needed $1500 up front to treat my pug, Coco who had been hit by a car (and the driver left the seen). The doctor meet me at the office at 2am, and treated Coco for shocking, and did surgery on his broken leg the next day. He was very caring and compassionate. The total bill was still less then the emergency clinic, and their price did not include surgery on his leg, it was just to keep him overnight. The staff was very friendly, and all really liked Coco. They let me set up a very reasonable payment plan. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this doctor and clinic. They also have a mobile low cost spay neuter clinic to help people who cannot afford other options. I have seen many posts on Craigslist of people who get turned away by other clinics who go here and get help. They are what I always thought vets were, people who loves animals. RID: 51120

The staff lied to me about the vet calling me to let me know about the emergency I brought my cat in for. I didn't get a response until AFTER I took my cat out of the building to another vet. They left my cat in a cage after having a heart attack with no medication, while his lungs filled with fluid suffocating. If you love your pet at all do NOT go to this vet and pay overpriced bills with no service. RID: 30158
Click to report rating    7/15/11   2     1     2     1   We took in our cat to see why he was coughing and sneezing. I was told he had an infection and they needed to figure out what it was. They asked if he had been tested for feline leukemia. I said no. They gave him some fluids and an injection of antibiotics. They gave me two bottles of antibiotics to administer at home. The total cost...535 dollars. I looked up the medicine when I got home and I could get it for $18 dollars a bottle but was charged $88 for two. With all the testing they still didn't know where the infection was. Big rip-off. RID: 26244

WHEN I RUSHED HER TO ANOTHER VET, THEY TOLD ME THAT IF I HADN'T BROUGHT HER IN HER INTESTINES WERE IN DANGER OF RUPTURING OUT THROUGHT THE SURGICAL AREA.I CAN'T BELIEVE THE STATE ALLOWS THIS TORTURE OF ANIMALS TO CONTINUE.THIS VET MY CHARGE LESS,AND NOW I SEE WHY. Click to report rating    8/20/08   1     2     1     1   Receptionist was nice-ish, Vet was distant and cold. Took our 6 month old pup there with Parvo. We knew not to expect any miracles, but we had to call them for updates. They didn't even call to tell us that she passed. WE called and they told us several hours later. AND. A week later we got a call from them checking to see how she was doing - after she died in their care. RID: 9725
Click to report rating    12/29/06   1     2     2     2   One of my cats died while being "cared for" at this clinic. It was a healthy young cat, and the vet didn't even express regret when I called for more explanation the following day. They didn't even know the cat was dead until I came to pick him up. RID: 1621
