I do not recommend Millersville Animal Hospital for any surgical procedures. One of my BF's 4yo dog was having issues expressing his anal glands - they were filling up about every 2 wks and he was unable to express them on his own. They mentioned this to his vet and he immediately suggested surgery. He made it seem like a routine procedure with no mention of complications. Trusting the hospital, they took the dog in for anal gland removal surgery. Needless to say, he suffered MAJOR complications. The doctor who initially performed the surgery realized that he had nicked an artery. Instead of taking their dog straight to the emergency hospital, he decided to perform another exploratory surgery to try and find the bleeding. He couldn't and that was when he was rushed to the emergency veterinary surgery center for a life-saving operation and his third surgery in less than 24 hours. Long story short, he will most like be fecal incontinent for the rest of his life.

I love this place -- as do my two dogs and one of my cats (other cat doesn't like anything). The staff is wonderful and does well with "high-maintenance pet owners." I probably over-react, but am always treated respectively. I do think that one vet is better with cats while one of the other is better with large dogs, but it works out just fine! Great place!!!

I have had 9 animals go there and wouldn't take them to any other doctors. They know my animals and they know that they are my children. If an emergency comes up and the docs know about it, they will squeeze me in. The docs seem as concerned about my pets as I am. The staff is great too and will do everything they can to help you. I personally would't take my pets to anyone else but to Dr. Rommel or Dr. T.

Dr.T and Dr.Romel have a genuine love of animals. My furkids don't mind going to the vets. When my youngest Raina hears Dr.T's voice in the other room she gets so excited. I recommend them to everyone I know. I trust them with my furkids health and wellness.

The facilty is clean and the staff are true animal lovers. I highly recommend Dr. Trigilio my cats love him.
