Dr. Claus is an unprofessional, rude and disagreeable person. My dog requires a Benadryl shot prior to receiving his vaccines. Instead of doing that, she wanted me to come for numerous visits and spread out the vaccines. She said she wasn’t going to risk her license (???) to accommodate a poor pet owner who didn’t want to put time into her pet! She also insinuated that I was a “Princess,” My pet is 5 years old and his two prior vets treated my pet this way and have since. Dr. Claus is not a people person, she should be in a laboratory somewhere away from humans and pets. The facility (McCormick Animal Hospital in Evanston, Illinois) was dirty and falling apart. There was even old blood on the examination table and dead bugs in the corners of the room. For someone who didn’t want to risk her license, she certainly doesn’t keep her facility clean and sterile. I would NOT recommend her or the facility to ANYONE. I did not allow her to treat my dog and left immediately.
