If your looking for an expensive place where your needs come after their needs then this is the place for you. If not then avoid Cottonwood animal hospital. Find a vet who cares. Not one who acts like they care but really does not. That was my experience.

I brought my miniature schnauzer in because a large dog tried to pull him under our fence by his back leg. The doctor brought in an ortopedic specialist to look at Koko. They worked with me to try and save his leg and kept me updated almost daily on exactly how well it was healing. It's a very clean facility. The whole staff is personable and seem to really love animals. We were allowed to vist Koko at any time and even bring our other dog into see him, which really helped to cheer both of them up.The only thing I didn't like about the clinic is at night the staff turn their radio up loud. That's not so bad, except it's in a small room facing straight at the kennels. I don't think that's very good for animals who are trying to recover. However, they will move the radio if you ask them to. I really like this clinic and the staff. I was able to work with two very good doctors there. I would reccomend this facility to anyone who has a pet emergency.

This is a very nice hospital! For the most part the staff is very nice and I have had a good experience there! It is clean. They are open 24 hours and that is important if you have an emergency!!! But I would NEVER let Dr. Debbie Cartisano touch or care for my pet ever again. She isnt current on her medicine and lacks skills that I know other vets have. She seems to only care about money and brings personal issues to work with her! And also she calls herself a reproductive specialist, should we really be reproducing animals in this day and age when we are euthanizing so many unwanted pets everyday? She really should rethink this as a vet!!!

They gave my cat Rimadyl injectible (not approved in cats and not recommended for with gi disease ) twice within a 48 hour period when he was admitted for a gi foreign body. Then charged me for the care required to deal with the resultant renal damage.... Poor staff communication. Unwillingness to admit fault or accept responsibility for this medical error.

They are very expensive. Order tests that are not necessarily need.They are very "business" oriented. May be good, but there are other vets that are better in terms of friendliness, and monetary value. This hospital has a very "large" and "corporate" feel to it, not the "family" sense other places have.

I take all of my cats there. Not the cheapest vets around, but they are very good and you can visit your babies any time when they are in overnight.

I have lived all over this country, this is by far the best vet I have EVER had!! Highly reccommended!
