My dog has had to go several times due to an anal issue. The staff is great. They are very nice and knowledgable. They know myself and family due to the care for all of our pets. We all have gone for more than 10 years and never had a drop in care or felt i was being over charged. They even think outside of the box to try and keep the cost down. The Dr. are great and even alough us to call and speak to them inbetween patients. The crown point Animal hospital is like family.

I recently had a situation where my neighbors dog was taken to CPAH for treatment. My dog being responsible for the injury, I was the one paying for services. It is my opinion that the Dr. here took advantage of the situation and kept the dog at the vets office way longer than needed. To make a long story short, 7 weeks and $3,600 later she then would not release the dog to my neighbor without full payment. She then refused to work with me on getting the payment on my card instead of my neighbors. I would advise taking your pets anywhere but here as it appears they are as concerned with finances as they are with animal care. The Dr. would also not speak with me directly and made her assistants call me to relay messages.
