I have visited this clinic with three of my pets before I got completely discussed with them. This last time my dog had been limping in the right front limb, but no obvious injury or swelling or pain was found. She has a history of tick bites from working with me in the woods the past spring. They treated her with amoxicillin, when the recommended treatment for lyme disease is doxycline. They wanted to do series of xray when she did not improve. Maybe she would have improved is they had actaully tested her and treated her properly. I am guessing that these vets work on commission. I had another veterinarian there tell me my dog would die if I didn't treat him with $400 worth of fancy new antibiotics. The dog lived to 15y4m of age.
