Monetary gain is the object of this emergency clinic. A noninvasive procedure was recommended when our Vet sent us to this place. The Emergency Vet refused to do the $300 diagnosis recommended by our Vet only saying they were not comfortable with it and if we did not do the $2199-$3199 surgery now our pet would die. We argued for over an hour how our pet would not be able to handle it. They continued to say the same thing we had to do the surgery or the animal would die. We did not want her to die so we gave in because they are the Emergency Vet Dr. and they know best. The surgery revealed the animal never had the ailment and she died due to the 2 hour surgery and the drugs. Why the hysterectomy took 2 hours is beyond me. It was supposed to be exploratory to find the infection. Digging for the fault that caused a fever and elevated white cell count? It was never found. My rating is a zero but one is the lowest it would let me rate. We brought her home in a body bag. Devastating!!!

It is my personal opinion from my experience at this clinic that it is nauseating that they are the only ER clinic in Wichita. I find them heartless, disregarding and I personally feel that they are negligent and dishonest. My experience was that as long as they collected the bill - they could not care less about how they treated the animal, nor did they (from my perspective) indicate any remote concern about an incorrect diagnosis that proved to be catastrophic.
