Westgate Vet is one of several Veterinary facilities in the area. It was not the first one I was to visit, but is is surely the LAST! I will look no farther. I won't tell about the others, but safe to say they were not as good... nor seemed to care as much for each individual animal. Having Drs. Carter, Barron, and Forrester near by is better than most areas will ever experience and the team I will always trust my dogs to.

Westgate Vet Hospital is the model for what all traditional vet clinics should be. Their vets and staff are wholeheartedly dedicated to the health of your pet and TAKE THE TIME to educate you and discuss your concerns about your pet. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable for both services and products. Those clients carrying VPI pet insurance will find the claims process very easy. Should you have an emergency at your house, they are willing to make a house call to help you, understanding the impossibility of moving an injured giant breed dog. They go above and beyond in my opinion and if I could have taken them with me when I moved away, I would have! :) Nowhere else will you find a group of vets that CARE like Drs. Barron, Forrester, and Carter. And that extends to their staff as well...Cindy, Michelle, Karen, and the whole gang are all amazing people that are concerned for you and your pet's health. They will forever be the epitomy of what a traditional vet should be.
