My parents had used this clinic for over 20 years. Dr Riggs now owns this clinic and my parents rushed their dog Sam ( 100 lb Shepherd/ husky mix) there with a severely broken leg. They sent this dog home with my 89 yr old parents with a splint that looked like a 3 yr old did ( that fell off the next day) and a prescription of hydrocodone. This dog and my parents suffered horribly for 3 days. Their advice to them was to take him to another vet in ANOTHER county a week later. We winded up taking him to an emergency hospital Central Veterinary in Georgetown ( got exceptional care), but poor Sam had to be put down. We're going to seek damages. Sam and my parents deserved better care and consideration. Don't take your pets here.

I totally disagree with the prior rating...Went to this Vet for nearly 20 years as have most of my neighbors (Greenbrier). Dr. Seagren is a caring and skilled veterinarian...He's very practical, however, doesn't order tests without considering what one will do with that information...but I feel my pets received excellent care from him. I'm sad that he has retired and sold his practice. I have not been to the new Vet, so can give no opinion there.

DR Gary Seagren, owner, does not examine your pet as supposed to be, he guesses, and gave my schnauzer two mis-diagonasis
