My dog was vomiting so we took him in right away and they did xrays for over 600 dollars to turn around and tell us there was no blockage. Took him home where he vomited for 3 more days and rushed him to the Pet ER where we found out he was close to death and an xray revealed a blockage right away! 7000K dollars later and thank god he survived! I would never recommend them to anyone ever!

I am on the Family Plan which was when Dr. Dorsam was there and you pay $19.99 a month and office visits are free. Well now that Dr. Jeff Davis has taken the practice over it is impossible to get an appointment if your dog is sick and the work you in fee is $48. Hello???? The service is terrible. When I need to see a vet the dog is sick...I don't just go because I want to see the vet. I don't recommend this facility. I have a dog throwing up and no appoints for the next 2 days but "we can work you in"

I have been taking my kitties to Dr Dorsam for six years and followed him when he moved to his own practice. I trust him implciitly and he always makes you feel as your pet is the ONLY pet and gives you 100% of his attention and experience. His team are so helpful and experienced and the whole surgery cares about your pet as much as you do. My son has a dog of his own now and Folly is also a patient of Dr Dorsam...........we wouldn't have it any other way =O)

The Dr and staff are very good. My only wish would be that they have an area to set cat crates down where other peoples dogs couldn't get to. :)

Dr. Dorsam and his entire staff are the epitome of excellence! Dr. Dorsam is always very thorough with his exams, he's willing to give several options if applicable, and he truly cares about each and every patient. His staff is top notch, too!! I've recommended several people who all go to F.A.H. now. Most of them (including myself)even drive almost 30 minutes to get to his office. If you are looking for a knowledgeable doctor, friendly staff, and superb care for your furry babies, look no further than Flowertown Animal Hospital.

We always took our dog to another vet in charleston. after he was diagnosed with kidney failure we began to realize that the vet we used was not up to date on the illness or treatment. In fact he really never even discussed what was going on with our animal. We then switched vets to Dr Dorsam. Wow what a difference. He was up to date on new treatments and medication. And the fact that he took time to discuss our dog's illness with us was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately it was too late. We had wasted so much time with the other vet, that we lost time to treat our pet appropriately.If only we had Dr. Dorsam at the beginning our outcome might have been different. After about 6 months of losing Rusty, we found a dog, Buddy, that we have adopted. He will always go to Dr. Dorsam. I know if something happens to Buddy, he will be well taken care of.

Dr Dorsam and his staff saved my 8 year old German Shepherd, Kayla from a horrible death from bloat. He was able to stabilize her and then had his staff transported her to Mt. Pleasant for surgery. The surgeon from Mt. Pleasant said due to Dr. Dorsam's quick response, he was able to save her life. He is a wonderful vet.

Dr. Dorsam (spelling?) it very detailed about his diagnoisis. He checked and double checked our dog to be sure. He proved to my husband and I that our dog did have heart worms when another vet said he did not. Wish he had better seating in the waiting room. We are not all a size 8.

Dr. Dorsan is incredible. His staff is so friendly and amazing. My puppy is there often with his illness and they make him feel so welcomed. He gives them all kisses and isn't afraid to be there as he was at other vets. The Dr. is very knowledgeable and was right on with all diagnosis and information. I will never go anywhere else.
