I had a little dog that I rescued from the ASPCA. As he got older he developed a number of health problems. Dr. Rafferty always took excellent care of him. I always appreciated the thoroughness and compassion that was shown to us. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

absolutely amazing place. They did so much for our little hamster Lenny and I truly felt that they did everything they could to try and save her. Dr. Kreiger eve came in early for us. I would highly reccomend this place especially since there are very few places that will look at small animals

My pets have received unbelievable care from Shelton Veterinary Center. We could not be happier. They are very thorough and go above and beyond with patient care. My dog and cat are happy and healthy. The facility is beautiful and extremely clean.

Had my cat there for emergency treatment. They truly are able to provide emergency care. Friendly, kind staff and veterinarians. Very qualified vets, including several board certified specialists. Wish they did regular outpatient care!

I am the husband of the 1/3/2007 response. What I would recommend when visiting your vet per visit is their systematic documentation practice. We were told by the doctor the occurrences verbally but had a half page report written up for the whole procedure. Compared to the multiple pages written up for previous visits for just a simple check-up, why would there only be a half page for surgery and an x-ray? The fact is, if it's not written down, 'it never happened.' Also ask why she was dismissed from The Yalesville Vet soon after. Please feel free to mention our dog's name: Atticca. If you happen to be a lawyer reading this, we would be honored if you could help pursue this matter still. To all that would like to reply to me personally, my email address is bret06492@aol.com. Note that we were also contacted by other people who had their animal 'accidentally killed' at her previous practice when she worked there. Thank you for reading... Bret Barron, Wallingford CT
