I was happy with them until I boarded my dogs with them. They allowed 1 to deteriorate starting on a Sat and did not contact me until Tues, though they had the contact information. By that time, she was so dehydrated that she had suffered organ damage. They only started IV fluids when I insisted. By then it was too late. I've never gone back.

They've been caring for our dogs since 1976, and have always been wonderful, through thick and thin. Beyond the normal everyday dog health issues, we've had to deal with displasia, arthritis, ruptured disks, seizures, allergic reactions, and, sadly, end-of-life decisions, and the doctors and staff at Suburban have always been friendly, compassionate, professional, and effective. I live a few miles from a different vet facility, but have chosen to continue to go to Suburban even though it's farther away, because I know that I can depend on the quality of care that my dogs receive at Suburban. On behalf of Ralph, Ramius, Sylvia, Vivian, Maggie, and Brigie, Thank You to Drs. Shaw, Sime, Eggleston, and Gandara, and to the staff, for all of your care over the decades. My dogs actually wag their tails here becuase everyone is kind, gentle, and patient. The building looks kind of old, but the rooms are clean and the care is top-notch!

Loved the vet techs-Dr. Simes is great as were all of the others. Emergency surgery needed--they did a great job, called often post surgery. Came in under estimate-very happy and will recommend to everyone.
