They do sloppy work. They charge you for services they did not perform. They hold your dog hostage until you pay for services they did not do. They are way too expensive. They are RUDE!!!

Do not use SVS. My dog died of sepsis or nocosomial infection at the surgical site, which means that the hospital was not sanitary, discovered after a necropsy. In addition, they told me this was a routine surgery, which it wasn't. They told me his response to it was normal which it wasn't. Dr. Rose LaMarie or the surgeon, Dr. Rockar will not meet with me to discuss the findings of the necropsy. My baby came home one day to be rushed back and they charged me an another emergency fee which the dr. said would be removed and it isn't. I returned meds he never got to use and they added it to bill and did not remove. Just caught it and had to ask in writing for removal - verbal has gotten me no where. Still dealing with them after 2 months. They are not compassionate or empathetic. They want your money and don't care about the dog or owner. They are now being reported the Louisiana Veterinary Board and they can address all of these issues with them. You can too which will help stop

After botching our dogs non-emergent surgery we were not helped at all. They were paid in full for all services up front and never returned calls after initially promising to fix the situation. Our dog barely survived and required further surgery elsewhere and a lengthy recovery. I would never recommend Rose Lemarie and think that her ultimate lack of compassion was both surprising and revealing.

dr. rose lemarie did a $4500 surgery on our dog and we had to call four times to get any info on how surgery went. internet said the surgery cost was in the range of $2400 to $2800. call numerous times for updates and had to leave message which were never returned. Incision came open the first night and had to be restapled. terrible treatment all around. went to visit after surgery and was left waiting in lobby for 45 minutes. i could go on and on,but won't. just do not take your pet to this clinic.

I work at a veterinary hospital myself, I have a boxer who had a "bad disk" in his back. I was referred here, I myself thought that they were a great hospital, but little did I know, they care nothing about their clients. I had to bring my boxer to have surgery there about 5 or 6 months ago. After the surgery he had to attend therapy 3 times a week for 6 weeks after the procedure. Since then, my boxer can no longer get around, he cannot use his hind legs at ALL.Its horrible to watch. I asked one of the doctors at my hospital, they told me that it takes some time to get the muscle use back, but its been way too long for him to not be back to normal. When I talked to the staff at southeast they replied with let me have someone call you back & "it's always a risk when it comes to surgeries like that". They wanted me to bring him in, and i stressed that I was hard for me to get him around & after $5,000.00 I really don't have the money to pay for another office visit, yet they did not care.
