Click to report rating    9/6/10   2     2     2     1   I felt completely ripped off. Most expensive vet on the island by far. Take what the next most expensive charges and double it - that's what she charged me. It really makes me wonder if that's how she funds her foundation. A foundation that would not help when I found a sick feral kitten. Having said that, she does seem to be a competent vet. RID: 19596
Click to report rating    1/4/07   1     4     1     4   I was told that Animal CARE Foundation treats exotics & provides spay/neuters too. I scheduled my bunny's spay surgery. The person who scheduled the appointment said that the clinic would call to confirm the day before surgery. I waited until almost closing that day, but no call came & I decided to check. The staff who answered the phone said that the appointment wasn't in their calendar. I was told I could bring in the rabbit first thing in the morning anyway & make sure that the rabbit had no food after 12am. I drop off my pet first thing in the morning on spay-day. The staff told me to call in the afternoon about 4pm, and pick-up was from 5 on. At 4pm, I try calling, but all I got is the screeching of a fax machine. I drive there to see what's going on and turns out that they never got to spay my rabbit. A whole day wasted--all they said was that they were short-staffed. Would have been nice if they'd call to let me know this. I know I am never going back there again. RID: 1790
