This place should be exposed for the incompetent practice that they are. Do not take your animals here. My dog was severely burned while in a routine dental procedure. My dog lost all of the hair and skin and some muscle on its shoulder. Beware. They have hurt other animals. A poor dog lost its life due to their negligence.

Do not believe everything you read from some reviewers. There is a complete other side to their complaints. Makai had nothing to do with putting a pet to sleep. This Is slander and a malicious vendetta against Dr. Zane. Do not believe her words.

Dr. Tom is the best rabbit specialist in the state. My rabbit and I always felt cared for there. When my rabbit died unexpectedly Dr. Tom took the time to answer all of my questions and help me grieve.

We have previously have been seen at VCA Kaneohe. However the staff & Doctors at Makai are so friendly & professional. The prices are so much better at Makai. We have been so dissatisified with other Clinics,but we are now finally at home at Makai Animal Clinic.Thank you to all the Doctors & Staff for making a positive experience of going to the Veterinarian.
