Multiple dogs and cats of mine treated by the vets and staff here, including pets from my workplace. Always fine, pleasant, clean, no one pushing unnecessary stuff. They knew I was paying out of my own pocket for care for a cat that wasn't mine, told me what needed to be done in the future, and what was the minimum I needed right then. I really appreciate each of a few vets I've met with Valu-Vet. Staff is good, too. Surgery, vaccines, minor emergency care, nails: It's all good.

I took my dog here for a chronic skin condition. They were very polite and did not try to run tests that were not needed.

I love this clinic. I think some people get the wrong impression when they hear Val-U-Vet you're assuming you can come in spend $5 and just like that your pets all better. You need to understand Veternarians and their staff have guidelines to follow. Your not a Dr. you don't know what's wrong with your pet so stop trying to diagnose at home and pick up perscriptions without seeing the Vet it doesn't work like that. If you care for your pet and you want what's best for your pet then you should always do what the Veternarian recomend, if you can't afford to care for your pet then you shouldn't own your pet don't blame Val U Vet because you can't afford to care for your pet. Call around price shop and Value Val U Vet has pretty reasonable prices. Some people are just never satisfied :)

I had brought my male dog here a few years ago when it was truly a low cost clinic to be vaccinated and neutered. While the Vet wasn't the most personable she seemed to care about animals and did the job well for a price we could afford. Flash forward to 08 and this place has turned into the most costly of 3 places I called for a simple rabies booster and spay for a female we aquired. The woman on the phone spent more time trying to sell me stuff like a used car salesman. They didn't want to do a booster without a "full work up" because she was new there regardless of the fact that she had a previous vet and I could have gotten her records sent. The Doctor would prefer it if they did their own work. Seriously? Funny how the low cost clinic in a warehouse that once charged $65 nows hits you for over $200 right around the time that Volusia county passed the mandatory spay and neuter laws. Thanks but no thanks.

They vet is very rude and I got a very strange feeling. I could not understand what his problem was, why would a vet be rude to a random customer? The whole situation was very weird.

This place is AWESOME! I wish I'd discovered it years ago. I will not take my dogs or cats anywhere else.

WARNING: The doctor they have there is arrogant and not a very good vet at all. STAY AWAY or your pet may come home worse then when she went.
