Don't board here...Dogs sleep in concrete cages with tiny thin blanket. Never had a prob w the dr's but you never no.

More than two years ago my 10 yr. old dog had a huge hot spot that I couldn't get under control. Took him to Hunt Valley. Dr. Pondish (?) asked a series of quest. and suggested I change my dog's food and give him a benedril 2xday and a dietary supplement. This treatment workd like a charm and he hasn't had a problem since. Everyone at this clinic has always been professional, knowledgable and helpful in every way. I highly recommend them.

I simply could not allow one disgruntled customer to tarnish the reputation of this excellent clinic! My Lab had laparoscopic spay done by Dr. Frank and I can't say enough good things about him or the hospital. Prior to scheduling the surgery he spent the better part of an hour explaining everything, answering my questions and allowing me to tour the operating suite. I'm a nurse and was very impressed to see that their OR was as clean and well equipped as any human hospital! Dr. Frank is very knowledgeable and up to date with his information and yet not heavy handed with the advice. I truly felt like a respected partner in my dog's health care. It's a very busy place but if you give respect you will get it, as is true in all aspects of life.

Once again this hospital is disgusting...my 7yr old American Eskimo needed immediate assistant as he had some deep cuts on his testicles and this placed turned my mom away and their reason is because they and I did not have a good relationship. Mom didn't know about the complaints I made about this place, called to make an appointment and they told her they are not willing to help her due to personal vendettas. I gladly took my dog and went to Padonia Animal Hospital and they treated my dog. No unnecessary procedures and didn't cost an arm and a leg which is what HV Animal Hospital would have. Beware, do NOT taken your pet to them unless you don't care about your dogs well being.
