Dr Calhoun is the best vet around, caring, calm, and always right on point. We take our weimaraner to him for everything despite living in Boise and having many other vets to choose from that are much closer. Our breeders recommended him and they were 100% correct in doing so. Great guy!

Doctor Calhoun is the best! I called today (Sunday) with and emergency, and he called me back in 1/2 an hour, and walked me through how to save my goose! She's already doing better! Thanks again Doctor Calhoun!

I took my puppy to be vaccinated here. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. The only complaint I have is that I asked them to vaccinate her for everything, and they only did the basic shots. This being my first dog, I didn't realize there were other vaccinations until I spoke with another vet who asked if my dog was vaccinated for leptospirosis (my yard gets tons of squirrels). I was never offered the option for other vaccines, nor did I have explained to me which vaccines were being given (at the time, I assumed this was because I asked for everything). So now, I'm paying for vaccines I thought my dog already had.

Doctorey Calhounio!!!! What a great Vet..love him, love him! He always listens, and understands that I know my dogs better than anyone, and is right there to help always....even at 3 in the morning for an emergency C Section! I would trust him with any of my animals...he's the best.

Dr Calhoun is AWESOME!! My Vos Eclectus has a crush on him. He is so patient, knowledgable, caring and on top of all of that he does not rip you off with the prices.

Dr. Calhoun and his staff are wonderful in all aspects. My husband and I own Island Fish and Pets in Nampa,ID and we always recomend Idaho vet hospital. They have helped us in so many ways.
